With the courses we have launched on current topics in our associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs in the 2025–2026 Spring semester, we are bringing artificial intelligence together with different disciplines, offering our students new AI-focused courses in many fields ranging from health to finance and from gastronomy to social sciences.
At Istanbul Nişantaşı University, artificial intelligence courses occupy a significant place in the curriculum at the general education, associate, undergraduate, and graduate levels in the 2025–2026 academic year. Thanks to the courses offered across different academic units, AI technologies are not limited to technical fields alone but are being integrated into the educational programs of numerous disciplines.
Artificial Intelligence in Undergraduate Programs
AI-related courses occupy a broad place across different disciplines in undergraduate programs. In this context, AI courses under 18 titles are offered across different programs (a total of 41 courses), reaching students.
These courses include content geared toward different fields such as Artificial Intelligence in Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence in Architecture, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications, Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, Computer Skills and Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry, Financial Information Technologies (Fintech) and Artificial Intelligence Applications, Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Gastronomy Sector, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms and Programming, and Artificial Intelligence and Public Policy.
Graduate Programs
Artificial intelligence is incorporated into the curriculum in graduate programs by being associated with research and academic production processes. At this level, 4 different courses are included in the curricula of programs within the Institute (109 courses).
The graduate curriculum includes the courses Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Application Areas in Academia, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence and Ethics.
Artificial Intelligence in Associate Degree Programs
AI education also holds an important place in vocational schools. At the associate degree level, 4 different courses are included in the curricula of different programs (a total of 64 courses), aiming to help students gain the skills needed to adapt to the digital transformation process.
In this context, the courses Information Technologies in Healthcare and Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Technologies, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence are offered in associate degree programs.
An Interdisciplinary Educational Approach
Artificial intelligence courses at Istanbul Nişantaşı University are not limited to engineering fields alone; they offer an interdisciplinary educational approach by being included in many different disciplines such as health sciences, architecture, finance, gastronomy, and social sciences. In addition, the course "Yapay Zekâ ve Kontrol", offered in English as "Artificial Intelligence and Control," included in the university's general education curriculum, alows students from different programs to become familiar with the basic concepts of artificial intelligence. By being offered across many different programs and reaching a wide student body, these courses aim to prepare university students for a future shaped by digital transformation.
