RANKINGS ACHIEVEMENTS

The Department of Foreign Languages at Istanbul Nişantaşı University has been accredited until 2030 after successfully completing the evaluation process conducted by EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services), an international accreditation body. The department met al 56 criteria across 12 different areas, demonstrating that it holds high international quality standards in foreign language education.

Operating in a total of 35 countries and providing advisory services to the Council of Europe in the field of foreign language teaching, EAQUALS is among the leading internationaly recognized quality assessment organizations in language education, with over 30 years of experience.

Within the scope of the evaluation, the department was found to meet high standards in the following areas:

• teaching quality
• course programs
• course organization
• learning resources
• assessment and evaluation

In addition, the importance given to student and staff wellbeing, as well as the accurate and truthful preparation of al promotional materials, were also among the topics positively evaluated during the accreditation process.

Received the title of "Point of Excellence"

EAQUALS evaluators noted that the department demonstrated "Point of Excellence" level success in the category of "communication with teachers."
