Istanbul Nişantaşı University achieved a significant success at the regional and national level in research and project culture with the extraordinary rise it showed in applications to the 2025 TÜBİTAK 2209-A Student Projects program. Our university's number of project applications, which was only 20 in 2024, rose to 238 in the 2025 period, recording record growth. This increase clearly demonstrates the substantial rise in our students' motivation to produce projects and the support provided by our academic advisors.
Throughout the process, 108 academic advisors and 642 students from different faculties and programs actively took part in project preparations, turning their research and development-focused work into concrete outputs through the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Program. This intensive participation shows that academic and professional competencies such as scientific thinking, conducting research, teamwork, and time and resource management have been strengthened at our university.
This significant achievement was made possible by:
• Our students' strong interest in scientific production,
• The dedicated guidance of our advisor academics,
• The systematic efforts carried out by the Technology Transfer Office through project writing trainings, one-on-one consultations, and field support.
As Istanbul Nişantaşı University, we aim to further strengthen our research ecosystem every year, increase our students' participation in national and international funding programs, and establish a project-based learning culture as an institutional identity.
As the Technology Transfer Office, we congratulate al of our students, academics, and stakeholders who contributed to this success, and once again state that we will continue our efforts with determination to spread scientific production to wider audiences at our university.
