Istanbul Nişantaşı University has once again proven its academic success at the international level. According to the SCImago Institutions Rankings 2025 results, our university ranked 26th overal among the 144 universities evaluated across Turkey, placing it in the top 18%. This achievement stands out as an indicator of the importance our university places on academic productivity, research-based education, and scientific collaborations.
Standing out particularly for its performance in the field of research, Nişantaşı University ranked 4th among universities in Turkey in the research ranking. This result, reached through evaluations based on scientific publications, projects, and academic activities, makes a strong contribution to our university's vision of becoming a research university.
In the field-based rankings, our university achieved a major success, ranking 1st in Turkey in the fields of "Business, Management and Accounting" and "Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering." In addition, it ranked 2nd in Turkey in the fields of "Energy" and "Sociology and Political Science." Furthermore, it demonstrated a presence across a wide academic spectrum by entering the rankings both nationaly and internationaly in many different disciplines such as "Environmental Science," "Economics and Finance," "Engineering," "Computer Science," "Mathematics," and "Social Sciences."
Among the other significant results our university achieved in the SCImago rankings is its 59th place in Turkey in the areas of innovation and societal impact. This data shows that our university is an effective player not only in academic output, but also in societal contribution, innovation, and sustainable development.
