RANKINGS ACHIEVEMENTS

Istanbul Nişantaşı University achieved a notable success that drew attention in Turkish higher education with its strong performance in the SCImago Institutions Rankings 2026 results. The university showed a significant rise not only in the overal ranking, but also in research, innovation, and societal impact indicators.

According to the 2026 results, Istanbul Nişantaşı University rose to 16th place in Turkey's overal ranking. Having ranked 125th in 2023, 80th in 2024, and 26th in 2025, the university made significant progress in a short period of time by rising to 16th place in 2026.

With this result, the university became 4th in Turkey among foundation universities.

An even stronger achievement was recorded in the research indicator. Istanbul Nişantaşı University ranked 3rd in Turkey in the Research category, standing out as 1st in Turkey among foundation universities.

The university also placed among the top ranks in many disciplines in the field-based rankings.
