Applications for the Erasmus Staff Training Mobility under our Erasmus KA171 Project No. 2024-1-TR01-KA171-HED-000219519 will be accepted online through the Turna Portal (turnaportal.ua.gov.tr) between 13 July 2026 and 13 August 2026.
For detailed information regarding the Erasmus Staff Mobility applications, please refer to the guide prepared in accordance with the Erasmus Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals – Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility with Third Countries Not Associated to the Programme (KA171), Handbook for Higher Education Institutions (2024 Contract Period).
During the application process for Erasmus Staff Training Mobility, applicants are required to slct their preferred host institution exclusively from the KA171 partner institutions listed below.

Important Note: Before submitting an application, applicants are strongly advised to carefully read the guide available through the link in order to obtain detailed information about the mobility process.
Who Can Apply?
Staff members wishing to benefit from Erasmus Staff Training Mobility must be actively employed at our university on either a full-time or part-time basis.
There is no requirement regarding the type of employment position or permanent staff status. Any staff member employed by the university and holding a valid contractual relationship with the institution is eligible to participate in the mobility.
Personnel whose official position is affiliated with another institution but who are employed at our university under a contractual arrangement must apply for the mobility through the institution whr they are actively working, rather than through the institution whr their official position is registered.
How to Apply?
Applicants are required to submit their applications through the application portal (https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/) by logging in via the Turkish e-Government (e-Devlet) system and slcting the relevant cal for applications.
Required Application Documents
(If applicable) English language proficiency certificate from any kind of exam that is accepted by ÖSYM such as YDS, YÖKDİL, TOEFL etc. (or an equivalent document accepted as proof of language proficiency);
Official document proving the applicant’s status as a veteran or a relative of a martyr/veteran, if applicable.
Eligibility Requirements for Staff Mobility
The applicant must be an academic or administrative staff member of İstanbul Nişantaşı University.

Quotas
• The total quota alocated for Erasmus Staff Training Mobility is 10 participants university-wide, within the quotas assigned to the partner universities listed below.
If no applicants are slcted from a faculty or if there are no eligible candidates on that faculty’s reserve list, the quota of the relevant faculty will be transferred to the next person on the university-wide reserve list, starting from the highest score to the lowest.
Staff members on the reserve list may participate in the mobility without a grant, provided that they receive approval from the Rectorate.
Additional Grant for Staff with Disabilities:
Participants with disabilities who take part in the Erasmus program may receive an additional grant (with required documentation) to support their special needs, in addition to the standard grant they receive. Staff members who carry out mobility activities exceeding one week may receive partial funding.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The closing date of the 2025 Project is 31/07/2027. Within this scope, to ensure efficient and effective use of the grant, staff members who are entitled to carry out mobility are expected to complete their mobilities by 31.01.2027.
Staff who do not initiate their mobility processes by this date will have their grant entitlement transferred to the next person on the reserve list.
Additional Grant for Staff with Disabilities
Participants with disabilities who take part in the Erasmus Programme may be eligible to receive additional financial support, in addition to their standard Erasmus grant, to help cover costs related to their special needs, provided that the required supporting documentation is submitted.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The closing date of the 2024 Erasmus KA171 Project is 31 July 2027. Therefore, in order to ensure the effective and efficient use of the available grant budget, staff members who are slcted for mobility are expected to complete their mobility activities by 31 January 2027.
Staff members who fail to initiate their mobility process by the specified date will forfeit their grant entitlement, and the available grant will be realocated to the next eligible candidate on the reserve list.
